I don’t even know how thick it is. I don’t want it to look like a flimsy cardboard piece of crap but I want to make it light as well. And another challenge is how am I going to make it from broken to normal.

I have two boards downstairs so that’s a start.

But now I’m stuck. :I

Though my really cool engineering teacher has a whole bunch of scrap wood but making caledscratch out of wood entirely is going to be too heavy.

I made mine out of wood, though it’s only in the broken stage. If you’re looking to make it have the ability to switch between working and broken you’re probably going to need to use different material for the blade. I don’t think mine is too heavy but I have had commentary on the weight of it, you can definitely carry it around.

How I did it was I took two  1 inch and half thick boards, stapled/glued them together, drilled a hole on one end and stuck a dowel in it. Then I took a staircase knob, sawed off the top and bottom piece to make the guard and pommel. Then I took some thinly designed uhm, wood sticks and glued them at an angle for those spoke things.
